Open Question: my computer just started running real slow.?
music plays fine on windows media player and real player, but on myspace songs are real choppy. web pages load real slow. haven't downloaded anything lately. scanned for viruses and spyware, nothing shows up, defragged and did the disk cleanup. nothing helps. I have windows xp, verizon yahoo dsl. any idea what i should try next?

I had just gotten finish downloading DVD Drivers/Decoder for my computer. But now another problem has come up. When im trying to watch one of my DVD movies all i can do is hear the sound, but not see any footage from the video. What do I do now?

I reinstalled Windows 2000 in a Dell Optiplex GX150. It worked fine, except a screen came up as it was restarting, and gave me a choice of 2 Windows 2000 start ups, the second one fails to start, and the first one worked.
I was installing new programs such as Real Player, Skype, and then I installed iTune+Quicktime and restarted the computer. I chose the first Windows 2000 and it looked like it was starting up fine, it got to the "Preparing Network Connections.." then the screen went black and it restarted.
Does anyone have any idea why it would do this?
